This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in learning about engaging different communities in all stages of research including recruitment and dissemination of findings. The presentation will highlight strategies our team used in the past for in-person and online recruitment, including IRB-approved recruitment materials/scripts, along with different ways we have worked to disseminate findings from different studies.
Objectives: •Describe the research mission and vision of CHIBPS (Center for Health, Identity, Behavior & Prevention Studies) •Develop an understanding of community-based research •Summarize strategies for recruiting participants for research studies and disseminating information to communities
