Rutgers Global Health Institute awards Global Health Seed Grants to faculty conducting collaborative, interdisciplinary activities that address health inequities in New Jersey and around the world. Our aim is to help faculty pursue new ideas and seed expanded research and funding. This year, the five proposals selected to receive Global Health Seed Grants, up to $10,000 each in partnership with Rutgers Global, will confront health inequities locally and globally. Faculty-led projects in New Jersey, China, Peru, and several African nations will address issues related to suicide, food insecurity and poverty, HIV stigma, public health capacity building, and lifesaving bleeding control.
