Public comment period now open

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has released a preliminary list of 50 food deserts in New Jersey, where the agency hopes to facilitate development, construction and sustainable operations of new supermarkets and grocery stores. In these food deserts, which exist in all 21 New Jersey counties, residents have little to no access to affordable, healthy food options.
