Presented by Maria Laura Gennaro
Gennaro is a principal investigator at New Jersey Medical School’s Public Health Research Institute and a professor of medicine. She also holds appointments in the School of Public Health’s Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and as a core faculty member of Rutgers Global Health Institute.
A research scientist, Gennaro deploys her immunology and microbiology expertise, honed through decades of studying tuberculosis, in the world’s fight against COVID-19. Her presentation will include an overview of her laboratory’s work during the pandemic.
