SUMMARY:Evaluating the Impact of Medicaid Waiver Policies on Safety Net and Disabled Populations
DESCRIPTION:The Institute for Health\, Health Care Policy\, and Aging Research is hosting a seminar at 12 p.m. on Thursday\, October 28\, as part of its Brown Bag Seminar Series. \n“Evaluating the Impact of Medicaid Waiver Policies on Safety Net and Disabled Populations” \nPresented by Sujoy Chakravarty\, Rutgers Center for State Health Policy \nSujoy Chakravarty is an associate research professor and health economist at the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy\, where his primary emphasis is on health economics and policy. He is also leading the evaluation of the ongoing New Jersey Comprehensive Waiver Demonstration that introduces significant changes in delivery of behavioral health services\, long-term services and supports\, and hospital payment structure aimed at improving patient care and population health. \nOnline via Zoom\nFree and open to the public.
